AUDIO/VISUAL LAGER: COLLECTIVE ARTS X EQ DISTRO

Audio/Visual Lager embodies our love for music and our passion to push the boundaries for emerging talent. When we set out to make an easy-drinking lager, we wanted to use it as an opportunity for our community to discover new music. This collaborative series celebrates the intersection of art, music and beer, featuring a record label, four bands and one visual artist.

We’re excited to introduce our new edition of Audio/Visual, in partnership with EQ Distro, an independent music distribution company based in New York City. We worked with EQ to feature four emerging acts on the latest series of Audio/Visual: Asoh Black!, Tangina Stone, Stockz and Sunny Picasso.

The art on this Audio/Visual series is by Wes Art Studio, a Mexico City-based graphic design studio.

Asoh Black! 

Asoh Black! has had a passion for hip-hop since high school when he discovered artists like Kanye West, Big Sean, and many more. Despite living in a household that didn’t celebrate this music, Asoh developed a knack for writing lyrics and crafting feel-good records. In June 2015, he released his debut EP “20 | 20,” and has since been following his vision with the hopes of inspiring others to do the same. Asoh was named one of Plug Society’s “50 Artists to Watch in 2017,” and has been featured in publications like Lyrical Lemonade. Look out for this hungry hitmaker.

Tangina Stone 

Combining soul, rock, electronic and r&b music; vocalist, writer, and producer Tangina Stone has been championed as a universal breath of fresh air gracing stages from New York, Tokyo, to London. She has worked with the likes of Nelly Furtado, Kenneth Whalum, Nitty Scott, Crystal Caines and more. Music is Tangina’s driving force. She enjoys building and bringing songs to life. Every record is important and a chance to make someone feel. This is what she specializes in: through music, she knows how to make people feel something.

Stockz

Stockz, also known as “Skateboard Cane”, government name: Myles Anderson, is a Los Angeles-based recording artist. A Houston native, Stockz began his creative journey by songwriting, rapping, directing music videos and modeling in 2011. His breakout mixtape, “Breathing Room”, was released in 2011, and followed by “Mylesdeep” and “Ignorance EP”, released in 2012 and 2014, respectively. While independently releasing videos/singles throughout 2017 and 2018 Stockz gained the attention of executives from Jay-Z’s Rocnation label, and became their newest management signee in late 2018.

Sunny Picasso 

Sunny Picasso is a visual rapper out of Northside Queens, NYC. Sunny has been consistently releasing albums, singles and EPs since 2017. His first full-length release, “4AM” dropped in 2018, with his most recent album, “Sunnydaze”, following in 2019. Most recently, Sunny debuted a seven-track release called “Stashbox EP”, plus a single, entitled “Sunny Quarantino”.

Wes Art Studio is a Mexico City-based graphic design founded by Miguel González (A.K.A Wes) and Francisco Mendoza (A.K.A Frank).

Equity Distribution (EQ Distro) is an independent music platform that helps artists distribute their music world-wide while allowing them to retain ownership of their masters.

AUDIO/VISUAL LAGER

Audio/Visual Lager is super refreshing, making it the ideal beer for concerts, green rooms, backyards or wherever you tune in. Audio/Visual is brewed with pilsner malt and brown rice and cold aged for 4 weeks for the most refreshingly clean, and crisp finish possible. We use Wai-iti hops for fresh notes of lime and mandarin citrus, rounding out this traditional style into a benchmark lager.
