Ryan Dunbar

Morgan is a musician by both trade and heart.

After years of performing and collaborating in other groups, Dunbar took creativity in his own hands, releasing his debut album, “Island TV” in 2019. Fusing his talents on drums, bass, guitar, keys and merged with his own production skills, you can see and hear details in his work.

2021’s “Island Radio” explores a softer sonic palette and features several collaborators on each track, a departure from his debut record. We couldn’t help but look for the details, noticing a quirky sense of his own awareness on this album.

“The transition of working through the pandemic was strange. Crowded sessions at my studio became impossible, but it opened up a new space for working with [other] artists, sharing files remotely” says Dubar. “We’re in a great place now having so many artists around looking to produce music and push forward again, it’s an inspiring time to create.”

Certainly a force to be reckoned with, Dunbar provides an unwavering vision and we can be sure to see more of his work come to life in the future.
